Operating from a head office in Carlisle and regional bases in the Scottish Borders and South West Scotland we have an extensive track record of successfully delivering a wide range of construction and civil engineering services across a wide range of sectors for a wide range of clients.
We have substantial experience of all forms of procurement and project delivery including joint ventures, framework agreements, the various design and construct mechanisms and traditional tendering. We are fully resourced to deliver effective and efficient building and civil engineering services on projects ranging in value from £150k to in excess of £20m.

Our commitment is underpinned by a framework of comprehensive and independently audited ISO accredited Quality and Environmental Management Systems supported by detailed operational systems and procedures encompassing all parts of our operations. Our internal management systems allied to our large pool of very experienced, highly motivated, qualified and well trained directly employed staff, efficient and effective internal information management systems and infrastructure, and rigorous selection assessment, management and ongoing monitoring of supply chain partners ensure we consistently meet client requirements.
We currently directly employ around 240 skilled, experienced, highly motivated and locally based staff offering the full range of construction management, commercial, procurement and support services as well as tradesmen and operatives and own and operate a large range of plant and machinery. Our substantial internal resources and our large fully assessed supply chain, many of whom are locally based, ensures we effectively resource all projects we are involved with.
We have comprehensive and robust Health & Safety Policies and Procedures and are fully and independently accredited by both the Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) and UVDB Verify.
Our construction division operates in, and can demonstrate extensive experience of successfully delivering, both new build and refurbishment projects across a broad spectrum of sectors including education, retail, industrial, commercial, leisure, public, healthcare, housing and historic buildings.
Our civil engineering division both supports our construction division and has an established track record of successfully delivering a wide range of specialist services including Waste Water Treatment Works and Sewers; highways, reinforced concrete structures, land reclamation, remediation and improvement.
