New Industrial Units - Derwent Mills, Cockermouth

Project comprised the design and construction of 12 new build industrial units totaling 50,210 square feet together with extensive external works to form new access roadways, car parking and service areas.

The works included reinforced ground floor slabs and stanchion bases on piled foundations. The units comprised steel portal frames 6.0m high with profiled metal cladding systems to walls and roofs together with small areas of brickwork.

Sectional overhead doors to warehouse/production areas, metal faced personnel doors to fire escapes and powder coated aluminium framed entrance doors/windows to main reception and office areas. Internal areas comprise of blockwork walls to form office areas, toilets and mess facilities, and production areas complete with electrical and mechanical installations.

External Works comprised formation of new vehicle access points, footpaths, pavings, service areas, car parking areas and areas of soft landscaping, together with the installation of foul and surface water drainage systems and mains services.
