The project comprised the sympathetic refurbishment of parts of the Grade A Listed Edinburgh City Chambers including the main chamber, main stairs and other areas.
The construction works required careful planning and execution to enable the building to remain fully operational throughout the construction phase and to minimize disruption and ensure safety and security of building users and visitors. The successful delivery of the project also required detailed and effective ongoing coordination and co-operation between site management team, client and client design team.
All of the works were of the highest quality with refurbishment being undertaken in sympathy with the historical importance of the building. Much of the work was high quality joinery carried out by our own craftsmen.
